You can use 2D shapes, like squares, to make 3D shapes such as cubes—just like the ones you find in Minecraft! This project encourages learners to explore geometry and discover how simple shapes can combine to form exciting structures.

Geometric Aquatic Biome
Water is a special kind of liquid that we need to drink to stay healthy. It’s clear and colourless, and it can be found in many places like lakes, rivers, and even the ocean. Water also appears throughout the Minecraft world as an essential resource for survival and creativity. In this project, learners will explore the properties and importance of water while designing a geometric aquatic biome inspired by nature and imagination.

Ores and Metallic Pens
Plaster is usually made from gypsum, a type of rock. When mixed with water, it forms a paste that hardens into a solid shape. This project lets learners create their own “ores,” similar to the ones mined in Minecraft, and colour them in with metallic paint pens to give them a realistic, shiny appearance. It’s a hands-on way to explore materials, texture, and transformation while linking art and science.
